Kim In Peru

Kim In Peru

With the birth of this website, we will be consolidating and retiring some of our past efforts, specifically, kiminperu, a website we were using to document Kim’s work in Iquitos, Peru.  A lot of the basic information will be just copied over and reposted here, so it may or may not be new information for you, but it will be consolidated here so that we can be better stewards of both our time, and resources.

I want to retain the information, but some of the technology we used then has changed – to the point that it is better (for us) to just bring it over here and include it as a part of the whole – the ongoing story of our lives.

If you’re curious about what I’m talking about, Kim’s original site can be found here.

Why Moldova?

Why Moldova?

Why would I leave my comfortable house and life, travel to the other side of the globe to Europe’s poorest country? Not by choice, but by calling. That’s just the way it happens. At least, for me.

I guess the simple answer is, why not Moldova?  I’ve never been to Moldova, so I’ve been doing a lot of research and I find Moldova to be a true diamond in the rough; quite raw, actually.
